Benazir Karataeva
My name is Benazir Karataeva. I am 23 years old. I am studying for a master's degree at the Department of Management of the International University "Ala-Too". In August 2019, she came to South Korea to the Salbridge International Business School under the student exchange program. I studied here for one year, August 17th will be a whole year as I am in Korea. From the very beginning, I wanted to study in Korea, I heard about the level of education here, and was interested in the country itself. I really like the culture, traditions of this country, and of course, the Korean wave did not pass me by either Korea is now the most popular country among young people, we all listen to Korean pop music, watch their dramas. As for me, I really love Korean music in general, I listen a lot not only to Korean pop music but also other genres like ballads, trot, Korean hip-hop, etc. I really like the Korean music industry, now it is considered a phenomenon, how it works, its internal system is very interesting if you study it. Since there were a lot of interesting things for me in this country, I chose it.
Initially, I enrolled in a master's degree at Seoul National University, which ranks first in the ranking of all universities in Korea. Due to visa refusal, I could not fly. I was very upset, left for a long time ... it was a shame that because of only one visa, all my efforts were nullified and I could not fly to study in my beloved country.
But I didn't want to give up my dream, and I didn't want to waste time too (to apply for a visa again, to submit documents again to the university, it's all a long process). I decided not to waste a year of time in vain and entered the International University "Ala-Too" and through the student exchange program came to the country of my dreams☺️
I studied for a year, I like it very much, I have no regrets👍 Although the second semester of study was online, there was no general quarantine in Korea. We could easily go out and walk. Restaurants, cafes, shops were open all the time. And maybe that's why there was no tension, we had a good time with friends☺️ We could travel, travel to different cities inside Korea.
Even before the pandemic, I managed to fly to Malaysia and Indonesia
